I Have A Beef With The People Of Eugene. So, Sue Me.

Former KMPS jock/MD Pat Garrett has landed in Eugene, Or. at new COUNTRY US 101 KFLY. The station flipped from a Rock format this afternoon.

WARNING TO PAT GARRETT: Eugene is a town infested by hippies who have raised children that do strange things such as dressing as fairies (the teenage girls) in thong underwear and then run around the city’s public areas. Are there no obscenity laws in that Hell-hole? ** Just my humble opinion, but I think Eugene should be fenced off and no one should be allowed in — or out.

KFLY mornings will be filled by a syndicated Bobby Bones program, with syndicated programming at night also. The mid-day show is local, Angie Foster hosts. Garrett fills the afternoon drive slot as well as handling Music Director functions.

ABC News is being sued by BIG BEEF due to a “defamatory” story on what experts call “pink slime”, which is a finely textured beef product. Named in the suit is former KING 5 news reporter, David Kerley, now with ABC News and one of the reporters behind the story which aired in 2012. Also named, ABC News anchor Diane Sawyer and reporter Jim Avila. Beef is asking for $1.9 BILLION.
