FCC Paves Way To End LOCAL Radio-Tv

By lifting the requirement that stations maintain a studio in the city of license, that stations are not required to originate programming locally, our (PugetSound.media) prediction that regional or hub centers would replace local, is coming true. This plays right into Sinclair’s and other media groups’ plans to cut staff, regionalize or broadcast from one location to all stations in their group. The next step is the elimination of broadcast towers, when all broadcasting takes to the Internet platform. Hear me now and believe me later.
