Mike Cherry Signs On As PugetSound.Media Content Administrator


PugetSound.Media welcomes Mike Cherry as our new Content Administrator. Mike will be assisting with Content Development and Site Admin. Mike Cherry is a retired broadcaster. This photo was taken six years ago when Mike was on-air at CFSI/Salt Spring Island, BC. With 12 years in commercial radio, Mike has held positions such as MD, PD, asst PD, Prod Mgr, IT tech, station technician/engineer, and was also a pioneer Internet webcaster. Mike also volunteered at campus/community radio stations in B.C., Alberta & Washington for 17 years. Mike Cherry is an Amateur radio operator & “DXer” specializing in AM night-time DX, FM DX, 50 mHz “6 meters” & 144 mHz “2 meters” SSB/CW DX. You may recognize his name as a long-time contributor of content to PugetSound.Media and supported PugetSound.Media during our fund-raising campaign last year.
