Lost Treasures: Mamie Galore – “I Wanna Be Your Radio”

This 1965 single by Mamie Galore is the ‘B-side‘ of the intended hit – “Special Agent 34-24-38” released on St. Lawrence records.  There’s very little information available about this dynamic R&B singer, whose real name is Mamie “Galore” Davis.  She is buried at a cemetery in her home town of Greenville, Miss.
