Note to readers: update on my health

It’s hard for me to write & tell you this, but I wish I could inform you all that my health has been improving since arrival home a month ago from 2 horrific months in hospital.  However such is not the case & in fact I’ve been getting progressively worse.  The powerful antibiotics that are supposed to be fighting the remaining infection inside me do not seem to be having an effect & I’m experiencing a number of ill effects as a result.  My most recent tests have shown an alarming deterioration & there is a very real possibility I will again be incarcerated in hospital quite shortly.  My doctor made this clear yesterday afternoon & my wife is also attempting to persuade me this is best.  Should this occur, I reluctantly will disappear from this site for the forseeable future, but again promise I WILL return!  My wife will endeavor to keep the team here at Puget Sound Media informed on my progressive – or lack of it.  I am truly sorry if I drop out of sight once again & let you – our readers & fans down.  I take comfort from all the well-wishes and kind thoughts of you and the PSM staff with my recent ordeals.  This may not be ‘goodbye’ but is fair warning of what may be in my near future.  Right now, I’m taking each hour at a time.
