Lost Treasures: Simon & Garfunkel – “Baby Driver”

Many consider Simon & Garfunkel’s 1969 album “Bridge Over Troubled Water” to be their best accomplishment.  My own belief is that “Bookends” was their finest album.  One of the many singles released that came from the “Bridge…” album was the Number #1 hit “The Boxer”.  However, some Canadian & US stations also played the B-side “Baby Driver” which listed on their charts as a 2-sided hit single.  The lush harmonies on the chorus reminded some music critics of The Beach Boys & the rollicking acoustic guitars provided the groove on this record.  It’s a hot weekend here in the Pacific Northwest – grab a cool drink & enjoy this week’s “Lost Treasure”
