Lost Treasures: The Beatles – “Cry For A Shadow”

This week’s Lost Treasure was recorded at the iconic first sessions the Beatles did for Polydor producer Bert Kaempfert in 1961 with British singer Tony Sheridan.  However, the record wouldn’t see it’s first release until 1963 in the UK as an EP & much later on in North America.  “Cry For A Shadow” is one of only two instrumental recording the Beatles released over their career.  The other was “Flying” released on the 1967 album “Magical Mystery Tour”.  This song was composed by George Harrison & John Lennon.  Enjoy your weekend!
