Lost Treasures: Booker T & The M.G.’s – “Hang ‘Em High”

Our Lost Treasures selection this week is from 1968 on Stax Records.  Booker T & The M.G.’s along with the Bar-Kays were the in-studio house bands that backed up all of the labels artists, in addition to having many fine hits of their own.  “Hang ‘Em High” is a smoldering, soul take on the theme song from the Clint Eastwood ‘Spaghetti Western’.  Enjoy your weekend & thanks for pointing your browser each day to Puget Sound Media!
