BBN Adds CHRIST-mas Music, KYA Takes Another Hit

The Bible Broadcasting Network (KYFQ 91.7/Tacoma and KWFJ 89.7/Roy) has added Christmas music, along with the Christian teaching programs. Though not all-Christmas music all-the-time, the music heard on BBN stations is more centered on the reason for the holiday.

If spiritual music and messages don’t get you high on life, and if you are in the Olympia area, try 100.3 FM, KYA Radio (KYAO). The HD-2 channel of 94.5 KRXY programs a Classic Rock format and the station is promoted as being “bud powered.” Puget Sound area classic rock stations are sticking to format through the holidays. That means the same 400 songs continue to play, over and over and over and over again.
