  1. When I worked at KAYO, giving the legal I.D. at the top and bottom of the hour felt like an enunciation exercise at Ron Bailie’s.

    I wonder if legal I.D.s are still required.

    And how about taking transmitter readings every thirty minutes? It was always fun to fill in twelve sets of readings at the end of a six-hour shift.

    1. Legal ID’s are still required at the top of the hour +/- 5 minutes but AM or FM transmitter readings every 30 min is not required. Many of the board ops now being paid minimum wage at stations wouldn’t have a clue how to read a meter, even with digital display.
