Saturday Week in Review

KZOK 102.5 FM personality and Partridge Family TV child star, Danny Bonaduce discusses some of his most and least enjoyable radio and TV moments when he joins Rich De Sisto and Paul Kelly on the AIRCHECK podcast (LISTEN)

Jubal (Flagg) Fresh

APPLY NOW: Jubal is looking for TWO air personalities and one producer for his new morning show. Jubal Flagg Fresh is the new morning host at iHeart’s 106.1 KBKS, along with his wife, Alex.

( Amazon and AT&T’s WarnerMedia division have reached an extension agreement that will allow users of Amazon Fire TV connected TV devices to keep streaming HBO’s legacy service directly through the HBO app.

Unlike a wired service, like cable TV, which restricts viewer choices while raking in huge profits, there are ways to “jailbreak” the Firestick and continue to use embargoed services. *(Jailbreaking is the process by which Amazon users can remove software restrictions imposed on the Firestick operating service. Jailbreaking allows users to install applications and other software that are not authorized by Amazon’s App Store. Puget Sound Media does not endorse this practice.)*

It was the final day of the “Golic and Wingo” show on Friday, which succeeded the long-running “Mike and Mike” show. ESPN Radio debuts a new lineup on Aug. 17 featuring “Keyshawn, Jay and Zubin” debuting in morning drive. (Inside Radio)

It’s Saturday, that means it’s Outlaw Radio time. Matt Alan hosts a LIVE program each week at 3PM Pacific time from his home in Encino, CA. The audio has been iffy in recent weeks. Potential listeners have encountered “server errors” when attempting to connect with the online stream. If the system is operating properly, you can also catch Burl Barer’s True Crime Uncensored at 2PM, just prior to Outlaw Radio.

Mike Barer informed me that there is another OFC meetup this week. Isn’t there a limit on how many legendary radio personalities can gather to dine and shoot the bull in a public restaurant? I’m sure they will mask up and stay six feet apart.
