Good for the advertisers. I still subscribe to the Times. The Sunday edition can no longer injury someone in you get in the way of it being delivered. ( the newspaper is much thinner. Not as much content)
I used to have the Post-Intelligencer delivered daily until it went online only … have been a Seattle Times subscriber since. Each time I extend my delivery subscription, I’m concerned the print version, of the Times, may soon be going “on-line-only” too. I somehow have more confidence in our local print media & we would miss reading our morning newspaper over breakfast at our house. Besides I’d miss the Comics and doing the Crosswords and Word Jumble each day.
So, there you go … that’s my testimonial!
When was the ad published? If it’s current, can you provide the link?
I received it in my email
here is the link – I have added it to the post

I subscribed to the online version and will likely stay with it when the regular price kicks in.
