MyNorthwest.Com/Jason Rantz: Tacoma News Tribune pretends men can get pregnant

The editors at the Tacoma News Tribune (TNT) appear to think men can get pregnant. It’s an embarrassing next chapter for a newspaper that’s struggling to stay afloat. This won’t help.

Staff writer Angelica Relente reported on a new program to treat pregnant women who are drug addicts. But the lengthy feature never once mentions “women” or “woman” or any gendered language. 1. The TNT Sunday edition is the size of the Little Nickel Want Ads, you remember those? The size of a hefty grocery store insert. Old news, not worth the price they want.
Buh-bye, Trib! Your best days are far behind you.

  2. Science is getting blurred in today’s narrative. That whole X Y Biology thing isn’t narrative compliant.

  3. They’d really be triggered if they knew there used to be ads for “Help Wanted – Men” and “Help Wanted – Women.” Now there would have to be “Help Wanted – Gender Fluid,” except that sounds like Jiffy Lube is hiring.

And isn’t the TNT still operating out of a mailbox at the UPS Store on 38th Street? That says it all.
